AUDIENCE RESPONSES..from NLR listeners

What our listeners tell us:
Kramatorsk, Russia: "Hello New Life Radio. It's good that you are here. God's light comes to many homes with you. I'm happy that I can listen to you in our city! Thank God for you and your labor. Keep it up!"

Renata: "I always knew the right way, but I never walked it. This was my choice: SUICIDE or GOD. I was struggling inside. I heard one Christian drama on your radio and made a RIGHT CHOICE!"

"To tell you the truth, I can't live without New Life! The radio is running 24/7, and it off only when I'm out. You are my support!

"I love the Lord and thank you that through you He gave me answers to the most difficult questions. I am alive, not dead as I was before. Thank you for your ministry!"

"We always listen to NLR with pleasure! It gives me and all my colleagues joy at work!"

NORILSK, Russia: "Hello NEW LIFE! Norilsk is still with you! Thank you that you are there; that you keep serving the Lord; that with your there is a peace coming into my heart. BLESS YOU!"

NLR Station Director
Dima Vatoulya
fields listener responses
daily using cell phone text
messages from listeners across
the country. The anonymity of
this type of communication brings
out deep feelings from listeners...

"Please pray for me, for there is an
inner struggle in me, although I have
a different vision of life. It's a
hard time for me."

"Sorry for bothering you, but what is
the meaning of life? My soul has died."

NLR's broadcast service is often the only
Christian radio option in Russian, Belarussian,
and Ukrainian cities where mass media is
controlled by government and secular
broadcasters.

Christian leaders see the importance of NLR
in communicating a Christian worldview to
a secular society where less than 4% of people
attend church, and just 1% of content provided
in the total output of national and local media
is religious in nature.
NLR proclaims Christ 24/7.

NLR staffer TIMUR MAAMKEEV...
handles many listener reports.

Tanya: "Thanks to the Lord for your big work, friends!"

Jules: "Hi, beloved radio! May God bless you for your minstry!"

Dmitri from Volgodonsk: "You know, I went to a little cafe yesterday for a cup of hot tea. As I was leaving, I saw a homeless person sitting behind one of the tables. He was holding a plastic cup filled with tea and was shivering from the cold. I started thinking what can I possibly do for him. And then I remembered one of the stories that Dasha told on New Life Radio: about one time when she was also in a similar situation--thinking how she could help a person like that, and while she was pondering it, some little girl came up to the person and helped him. So I decided to think less, and do more, and brought him a cup of tea and a good sandwich. Oh how thankful he was, and how wonderful I felt. I wished him God's blessings and we went on with our day! Thank you New Life Radio so much, and thank God. Hallelujah!"

Alex from Zelenokomsk, Russia, is called to share the Gospel to those near death. Alex installed an NLR satellite system in a hospital ward for terminal patients at a local prison, and also did the same at a women's prison colony where 1800 women can hear New Life Radio.

Yuri from Chukotka: "I listen to KICY/NLR everyday! This is a gift from God to me even when they talk and sing in a foreign language. I know that this is a living river and truthful, God given and it pours into the hearts of men." (report from KICY-Nome)

Pastor Vladimir from Volgodonsk: "It seemed that the dream of Christian radio was impossible. For many years, the name of our Lord was whispered...today in our lives a miracle happened. In our city, it became possible to transmit Christian programming from NEW LIFE RADIO. Not whispering, but so that everyone would hear it. Not in darkness, but in the light, and in the morning, in the evening, and late at night. The first Christian radio in our city! IT'S A WHOLE NEW WORLD!"
